How to add icons to WordPress Menu Items?
Go to Appearance-> Menus and select the desired menu.
After mouse over the menu items and click in “Menu Image” Icon button. It will open a modal window where you can select if you want an image or an icon.
When selecting the Icon option you will be able to use the Dashicons that come with WordPress or the Fontawesome Icons.
